• This is a seven day fly-in Canadian Spring Black Bear hunt and combination fishing package to Northern Lights Lodge in Northwest Manitoba, Canada. We have a very high success rate for bear hunts. Check out the size of our bears. Our stands are set up for bow or rifle. We do take a lot of color phase bears including blonde, cinnamon and chocolate brown. The trip includes floatplane flight, guide for the hunt, food, lodging in fully modern cabins, boat, motor, gas, bedding, towels, taxes, bear license and our great fishing for Northern, Walleye, and Lake Trout. Come hunt one of the best areas allocated in northwest Manitoba. We have exclusive rights for these allocations. The bear in our area have received very little hunting pressure because of our vast remoteness. We are a small lodge dedicated to making your stay with us the best you will ever have. The trip also includes our incredible Lake Trout & Northern Pike fishing, floatplane flight, flying all your moose out, cabin, food, boat, motor, gas, guide, tax and moose license. We are a small lodge and only do four hunts a year so we are in camp and make sure your hunt is as good as it can be.The moose in our area have received very little hunting pressure because of our vast remoteness. For those that are successful in obtaining their desired game early in the week, a Bear tag is just the answer. Imagine, coming upon a trophy Black Bear while out hunting, and no tag!

• For many among you, black bear ranks as your first priority. If this is the case we invite you to visit our installations and you will not be disappointed. We start baiting around the end of April so that by mid May we can guarantee you an active bait. We have approximately 50 different sites with pre-arranged stands that we bait and visit every two days. It is important that you book early since we only take 10 hunters per week leaving you with the possibility of hunting from one of 5 different sites.
For an excellent moose hunting territory, Wapus is the place. Our territories cover approximately 10 square kilometres. Whether you prefer territories with small bodies of water, roads, open areas, we will advise you on the territories most suitable for you. You also have the possibility of visiting the territory which interests you during the season. We make sure all trails are done before you arrive and we supply boats or canoes on most bodies of water.

• At Wapus there is partridge like you have never seen. You can also hunt hare and woodcock.
Hunting starts on the third week of September, for one week or after moose hunting season, usually the last two weeks of October.
Given the variety of roads and trails you can either walk, drive or use an ATV to hunt. There are two kinds of partridge at Wapus, ruffled grouse and spruce grouse.

Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
• Our caribou hunts are limited in number due to an overall decline in the population across the entire island. Many trophy animals can still be found in our Caribou Management area, CMA 69. For many years the Woodland caribou populations on the Northern Peninsula rivaled numbers anywhere on the island with many trophy antlers taken each year. We had 100% success rate for caribou and average of 80% in the large animal range for many years. However, with the decline in numbers and limited licences available, you need to get that trophy now otherwise the opportunity may pass you by. Our Woodland Caribou hunts can be taken as a single species hunt or added to a Moose and Black Bear hunt for the Grand Slam!
The black bear can only be combined with a moose or caribou hunt. We do not offer this hunt as a seperate hunt on it's own. The bears have lots of natural feed here in area 39 which allows them to grow to a very large size.
Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
• The province of Newfoundland has an estimated population of over 120,000 Eastern Canadian Moose, the most densely populated area in North America. Areas 39 & 39A have exceptional moose population density due to it's remote wilderness location,accessible with float plane only. The average antler size in our area is 36 to 40" and we take some every year in the 40 to 50 inch range. Overall success since 1993 has been 95% on Bull Moose. Long Range Mountain has two locations on the Eastern Side of the Norther Peninsula, on top of the Mountain range, in rolling hill country. The area has ideal Moose Terrain with small bogs and streams, small lakes, timbered valleys and barren peaks. The barren peaks can be utilized to glass and call the area for Moose.
The black bear can only be combined with a moose or caribou hunt. We do not offer this hunt as a seperate hunt on it's own. The bears have lots of natural feed here in area 39 which allows them to grow to a very large size.
