Many of these animals have been born on the property and live their entire lives here, which means they know every nook, cranny and hidey-hole around, which makes for a challenging and authentic hunting experience. Adults of these species are introduced to the native population to diversify the gene pool and because it takes years for them to mature to shooting size. Field dressing, packing the animal in, skinning, quartering and care of meat are services offered to you at no extra cost. Professional taxidermy services are available on site. Lodging: Modern hunting lodge with over 200 mounted trophies. Campsites with electricity are available for a small fee. Ohio, United States • We primarily are a small "Archery Only" outfitter. We run three diffrent camps, "Main Camp", "O-Kamp", & "J-Kamp", to try and meet all of our hunters needs. See each page for the hunt specifics. We own, manage and hunt a core area of approximately 3000 acres. We will take up to six hunters per week. We have been practicing and implementing a Quality Deer Management Program here at Widerack since 1996. We request you only harvest deer that will score a minimum of 125 inches gross Pope and Young. Please see the Wounding & Minimum Buck Size Policy on the "Main Camp" info page. This policy is in effect for all three camps. We began taking archery clients in 2002. We have not and will not over hunt our area. Multiple food plots, minerals and feeding stations are managed year round for the deer and turkey.

Ohio • Whitetail hunts - Ours are fair-chase, fully guided hunts for some of the largest free-ranging deer on the planet. Despite our best efforts and yours, there are no guarantees. We take great pride in our success rate. Last year, eight out of 10 hunters had shot opportunities at P&Y-caliber bucks during our five-day hunts. We recognize that deer hunters, like deer, are not created equal. Individual standards vary considerably, which is why we offer two types of hunting environments. We have farms with a 140-inch antler minimum for discriminating hunters, as well as zones with a more lenient 125-inch minimum. Turkey - If hearing a big old tom rattling his tonsils makes your shotgun barrel or bow sight jump around like a polygraph attached to a Congressman, then you owe it to yourself to come to Ohio. The turkey population here will give you a serious case of droop jaw.

The hunting is unguided, however we will do all we can to assist you and share what we know about what the deer are doing while you are here. There are 60+ stands already up including, Millennium lock-on stands, conventional lock-on stands, ladder stands and ground blinds. Hunters are also encouraged to bring your own portable stand or ground blind. A climber stand will often give you the best opportunity.
