We will continue to have our shop in Great Falls and will renew our focus on guiding anglers on one day to multiple day trips on other waters in Montana, wilderness rivers in Montana and Idaho, raft and kayak rentals, retail sales, and exotic trips. The Smith River canyon is Montana's most beautiful backcountry trout river. This small, spring fed river has excellent hatches, including Stoneflies, Brown Drakes, PMD's, Caddis, and Tricos, but the nature of the water also favors attractor patterns and terrestrials. It is ideal water for the beginners to catch trout. The Dearborn can only be floated seasonally during the high water period of May into June and sometimes early July. It features spectacular views, moderate whitewater, and excellent fishing for rainbows, browns and some cutthroats.

Montana • We fish for the largest Trophy Lake Trout. Trophy fish up to 20lbs are common with fish over 30lbs caught each year. We work hard and have the ability to put our guests onto fish. Flathead Lake is a large body of water and the fish move around as conditions change; such as baitfish movement, weather conditions and the time of year. We have the knowledge and experience to know when and where the fish are located at different times of the year. Although we specialize in Trophy Lake Trout we also fish for Lake Superior Whitefish at specific times of the year. The action while fishing for Whitefish can be intense as they are in large schools and are quite aggressive. When the Whitefish are running we will troll for Trophy Trout for the first half of the charter then we will anchor and catch Whitefish for the remainder of the trip. This makes for an exciting and fun combination.

Kalispell • Superior Whitefish are delicious table fare, white flaky meat, this is one of the few fish that we target for harvest. These Fish Migrate out of Flathead lake to spawn in the fall through early winter. The move through the river system in large schools of fish. The most productive way to catch these fish is on light tackle with jigs. We also will fly fish for whitefish as well when on a productive bite or when conditions allow. We most commonly use the jet boat to cover the most amount of water to find fish and stay on the bite for this particular trip.

The majority of these trip are Fly fishing, fishing out of either the drift boat or jet.
