I bought this tent for a backcountry elk hunt this fall and was pleased at how it worked. The tent packed easily and was compact enough to just find a spot in my pack. Set up was quick and easy with a single trekking pole. I was nervous about how it would stand up to rain, and it did fine in light to moderate rain showers. Inside was dry through several hours of rainfall. I also liked the outside storage for gear. There was plenty of space for small items and stayed dry under the vestibule.
Inside is pretty tight when set up with a trekking pole. Not sure it is big enough for two, but I was comfortable inside with some of my gear. The pole and converging sides make it hard to move around inside. When laying down and stretched out (I'm 5'10") my head was pretty close to one wall and my feet up against the opposite side. The tent does get quite a bit of condensation in the morning despite having the vents open and good airflow.
I also used the tent without the pole by stringing paracord between two trees and passing the cord through the top loop. This worked very well and really opened the space to move around inside the tent.
Overall, I was pleased with the performance of this product in the backcountry. I was a little disappointed with the amount of space inside the tent, but for backcountry ease of packing and use, this is a good product. If you are a big person, you might want to consider a different tent, space gets used up really fast with a sleeping pad, bag, and gear.
