I just returned from elk hunting and I used my Team Elk Pack from Eberlestock, and I have a few thoughts to consider. First. I like the pack's storage and organization design. Unfortunately, I did not get an elk so packing-out capacity was not tested. On the negative side, I noticed the pack was a little noisy when the temp dropped to around freezing. The material was "crinkly" when accessing gear and trying to move quietly. Also, the pack seems a little on the small size. I spent a lot of time trying to adjust and get the pack to fit, keeping the weight off my shoulders and I never found the "sweet" spot. I feel like the torso adjustment was on the smaller side of things, and I'm not a tall person, but I do have broader shoulders than most men 6' tall. Overall, the pack is a good choice, and so far I haven't found anything I like better from competing products.
