Magview S1

I bought the Magview S1 Spotting Scope phone mount to use my phone with my spotting scope. I use it for scouting big game and to take pictures of wildlife. I researched several different mounting systems before concluding the Magview S1 was the most efficient system. The S1 allows me to quickly mount my phone camera to my spotting scope with only minor adjustments. The Magview app helps align the camera with the scope aperature and also has camera features that help take quality pictures. It allows my phone to take great photos at distance. The S1 acts as an eyepiece cover to protect the scope. I can use my phone's screen to view animals and can even use the digital zoom to take a closer look in addition to the scope's zoom. My one complaint is since I ware glasses, the S1 changes the eye relief when I look through the spotting scope without my phone. Its not bad on low magnification but reduces the field of view when I zoom. It comes with different shims that set the eye relief and I used the smallest one. I might try to moint it without a shim to see if that helps. I recommend this system for digiscoping with a spotting scope.
