Good binos, rangefinder had problems

I used these for a full Fall season before writing a a review, 3 bowhunts and 2 rifle hunts in Oregon, Idaho and Hawaii. Great quality glass with exceptional edge to edge clarity. The rangefinder was the most powerful I have used, in clear conditions it worked up to 3000 yards on rocks and 1800 yards on deer, maybe farther. With the slightest bit of fog, rain or snow the rangefinder was completely worthless. I was forced to carry a separate rangefinder for a week long elk hunt when the built in rangefinder would work past 80 yards. I have moved on to different binos for next season as I felt the rangefinder was too a big liability. It was having problems in the little bit of fog in the attached picture.
