• Texas Panhandle Trophy Hunting, - We have over 15,000 acres of intensely managed, prime hunting land at your disposal. We are located about 80 miles east of Amarillo, Texas. Hunters will harvest trophy game while hunting in Hall County, 20 miles west of Memphis, Texas.
Our Spring turkey hunts start with a 2-day package. This includes transportation on the ranch, guides, meals and lodging. This is for 2 gobblers. Hunting Rio Grand gobblers are exceptional with one of the largest, if not THE largest, winter roosts in the state of Texas.

• The quail hunting in the Texas Panhandle is an experience not soon forgotten. The terrain, agriculture and weather cater to one of the largest Bobwhite populations in the world.
The gentleness of the terrain makes for a relaxing, enjoyable hunt. We turn approximately twelve coveys per day. They usually range for a dozen to thirty birds in a covey.
The hunts begin with 2-day packages or are customized to fit each hunter's needs. Packages include meals, lodging, transportation on ranch, and guides. Can be done without guides, dogs, lodging or meals.

• Our Missouri snow goose hunts occur at the conclusion of the regular waterfowl season, in February, and hunters are allowed to harvest snow geese with liberalized regulations that include no limits, "unplugged" shotguns capable of more than 3 shots, the use of electronic calls, and extended shooting hours. This is a depredation hunt ordered by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and is designed to help reduce the overall snow goose population to sustainable numbers that their nesting habitat can support.

Waterfowl hunting is a Texas tradition that is hard to justify to someone who has never experienced it. Waterfowl hunting is about much more than just shooting unsuspecting ducks or geese in the worst of elements. Its about being there, immersing yourself in the moment, absorbing the sights, sounds, tastes, smells, and feelings of the great outdoors, enjoying fellowship with close friends and family, making memories for another days telling.
Whether it's from a traditional duck blind with decoys, calls and a good Lab, or jump shooting the tanks and ponds with a buddy, it is not uncommon to take several different species of waterfowl in the same outing.

This large acreage allows for safari style hunting with spot and stalk efforts paying off especially well on Nilgai and the other game. When things come together a typical in season day can include an early morning duck hunt, followed by a quick snipe hunt along the edge of a pond. On the way back to the Lodge for mid-morning breakfast, quail can be an easy opportunity. After lunch, deer or Nilgai can be pursued followed up with a late afternoon dove hunt. A morning fishing trip can be followed with an afternoon Nilgai hunt. Sometimes it gets to be too many opportunities and options, but that is why another visit is needed and desired!

• We are the "Heart of Hog country" in North Central Texas. The terrain ranges from dense mesquite pastures to rough cedar break canyons laced with fresh spring-fed creeks to acres and acres of cropland. Most of our property is perched on the rim of the scenic South Wichita River canyons where the abundant wild game has easy access to water, cover and food.
On the Ranch's hog hunting areas we set up strategically placed elevated 4 x 6 blinds, tripods, pop up blinds, corn spinners and bait holes containing sour grain (hog candy) or corn topped off with our famous and success proven hog attractant. Once you arrive at 2:00 pm you will get settled into your accommodations, take care of the necessary paperwork, and go through "Hog Orientation 101" with one of the Ranger Creek Ranch Guides. A guide will have baited selected areas the day prior to your arrival and will take you to these pre baited areas to determine the best places to set up for the evening hunt.

We lost wild quail here in East Texas close to 25 years ago and with quail leases out west being harder to find, at least with a hunt able population, me and my youngest son ( Cord ) decided to put in a bird hunting resort. Our goal was to raise a great flying bird, that could come as close as we could get them to being like wild birds.
