Texas Big Game Hunt

Texas, United States • I offer both guided and unguided hunts on private land as well as on the Lincoln National Forest. I am personally on all hunts and make sure every effort is made to insure your successful hunt. We hunt from tent camps set in the area we will be hunting. On our private land deer hunts we stay in a heated camp house. I have a great cook, and we have hearty home cooked meals and desserts. I am proud of the number of hunters who come back every year and hunt with us.

Texas Predator/Varmint Hunt

Texas • Texas Wild Boar Hunts Bow or Rifle This hunt is for free ranging wild boar. Hunts are from baited blinds as well as as some spot and stalk. January through April are the best for hunting. Hogs weighing up to 400 pounds have been taken. Texas Predator Hunts I offer hunts for coyote, bobcat, fox, coon, and wild hogs. I provide all the gear and transportation to hunting area. This hunt features lots of action and is very affordable.

Alba • Rolling Oaks Ranch is comprised of both open grass fields and heavy Oak groves. The terrain of the property is perfectly suited for Blackbuck. There are also 3 ponds and a 28 acre lake for the antelope to water at. There are traditional box blinds located throughout the property to hunt comfortably from. There are also ground blinds and tree stands set up for bow hunting. Depending on the time of year and the weather conditions, spot and stalk hunts are also available.

Alba • The ranch is located just 5 miles away from Lake Fork, pulling all types of waterfowl species to the property. Simpkins Creek runs into the north side of the lake, creating flooded timber and excellent hunting conditions. There are two duck blinds strategically located on the lake, ideal for any wind direction. Layout blinds can also be used to hunt divers in the deeper end of the lake. Throughout the season you can have the opportunity to hunt the following species of waterfowl: Green & Blue-Winged Teal, Mallard, Pintail, Widgeon, Gadwall, Wood Ducks, Shovelor, Bufflehead, Ringnecks, Bluebill, Redheads, Canvas Backs and Canadian Geese.

Rockport has some of the best Pintail, Redheads, Widgeon and Teal flights found anywhere. Vast numbers of other species winter on the Texas Coast or travel through, as well. Some people want a standard decoying duckshoot and lots of action, while others are seeking a specific trophy. Texas • The owner, Jim Foulkrod, has been hunting in South Texas for over 20 years. His outdoor experience and knowledge of the land will ensure the hunt of a lifetime! Each hunter will be paired to one experienced guide and you will be hunting from many different, great elevated bow or gun blinds, all with walk-up stairs. We have both rifle and bow ranges to sight in your weapons. The best time to schedule successful hunts is October through December. All deer are entered and scored at Texas's oldest deer contest, Muy Grande. In 2012/2013, we had two deer scoring over 170 and two deer scoring over 160, as well as many 140 and 150 inch deer.

Eden • We are offer a very high quality hunt on a private ranch in Texas. The hunt area is about 90 minutes east of Lubbock. This ranch has received very limited hunting over the last 10 years and has developed to the point that we can offer a highly successful hunt for mature bucks. These are low fence free ranging deer. The uniqueness of this property allows us to offer a quality hunting experience. Expect to have the opportunity to harvest mature bucks in the 140-160 class with the potential to take bucks into the 170 class. We only take 4 hunters per year and we have had 100% success usually on the 1st day. The hunts will be conducted as two 3 1/2 day fully outfitted hunts with 2 hunters per hunt, or if a group of 4 wants to book we may consider doing one 5 1/2 day hunt. Hunts will take place from November to late dec. We have multiple stands and feeders in place that will receive no hunting pressure prior to the first hunters arriving.
