Montana • Once you are at the ranch everything is taken care of for you. All lodging, transportation, guide service (2:1), meat and trophy care, as well as 3 generous home cooked meals a day. Hunting areas are accessed with 4X4 vehicles, spot and stalk is the most common method of hunting. Game is plentiful in our area; it's not uncommon to see over 100 deer a day. Our success rates for deer and antelope has been 95% and 98% in the past.

Montana • Montana's archery season opens in early September and ends mid-October. Rifle season begins the third Sunday in October and runs through the end of November. The average hunt consists of six days in camp with two hunters per guide-who are rotated throughout the hunt. Montana • September brings our fall bear and some archery Elk hunts! we can only do a small number of high quality hunts 2 or 3 elk hunts per year. We have a few small herds of elk but there are some extremely nice bulls! Fall bear hunting is good here, bear numbers are high and there are various color phases of black bears (brown, black and cinnamon ect.) Rifle season starts at the end of October till the end of November. There is whitetail deer, elk, mule deer, moose, bear, and some mountain lion hunts if you draw a tag.

Big Game Trophy Hunts

Montana, United States • Shooting big Bulls and Bucks while enjoying a cabin is a great way to hunt. These hunts are prefect for hunters that like the idea of having an option to hunt by horse or vehicle or both during their week with us. The quality of Bulls and Bucks is exactly the same from horseback or 4 wheel drive. Hunt huge rutting Muleys and heavy-tined migrating Bulls. Expect long range shots across huge valleys or right up close on the edge of timbered pockets. 5-8 year old Bucks scoring 160 - 220 and 5-9 year old Bulls scoring 300-385 are traveling from the Wilderness to Winter Range in October and November. Elk typically start migrating in mid October each year. Every hunt has excellent potential for great Bulls while they are traveling to Winter Range on both sides of our Ranch. Mule Deer start rutting in the first few days of November and rut into December. Whitetails show heavy rut activity from mid November on.

Montana, United States • Hunting is done with 4x4 vehicles and walking. The area has some scattered timber and deep canyons, making excellent Mule Deer habitat. It is not uncommon to see 100 head of Deer a day with 20 shootable bucks. A days hunting consists of a hearty breakfast before daylight. We then travel by 4x4 vehicle to the area we plan to hunt. We try to cover as much country with the vehicles as possible, using binoculars to locate game. After lunch we usually do some walking to kick up game that has bedded down during the heat of the day. Towards evening we are back in the pickup and glassing for game as it starts to move before dark. You will stay in a comfortable ranch house complete with beds, showers and lots of good cooking.
