In the areas we hunt it's typically considered the Rio Grande subspecies of wild turkey. We offer Spring turkey hunts where you can experience your heart pound as a longbeard struts into view. We can also put you on an autumn turkey which requires a different approach but can easily be combined with several other hunting opportunities. We offer hunts on exclusive private ranches in the beautiful oak woodlands of California and also on public forestland where you can match wits with a truly wild mountain turkey. Ohio, United States • We primarily are a small "Archery Only" outfitter. We run three diffrent camps, "Main Camp", "O-Kamp", & "J-Kamp", to try and meet all of our hunters needs. See each page for the hunt specifics. We own, manage and hunt a core area of approximately 3000 acres. We will take up to six hunters per week. We have been practicing and implementing a Quality Deer Management Program here at Widerack since 1996. We request you only harvest deer that will score a minimum of 125 inches gross Pope and Young. Please see the Wounding & Minimum Buck Size Policy on the "Main Camp" info page. This policy is in effect for all three camps. We began taking archery clients in 2002. We have not and will not over hunt our area. Multiple food plots, minerals and feeding stations are managed year round for the deer and turkey.

Stallion Pl • We at Fish Creek Outfitters offer several types of hunting trips. Our most popular hunting trip is the drop camps. We pack you to one of our 7 hunting camps permitted by the US forest service. Our camps are located between 9,000 and 10,000 foot elevations in semi heavily wooded forest with moderate steep terrain. We provide two tents, one for sleeping and one for your cooking. The tent for sleeping is equiped with cots for each client, propane heater and lantern. The cooking tent is provided with a stove, lantern, cooking utensils, cookware, and a set of dishes, cups and silverware. Also with this option we come to your camp and check on you at least twice during your hunt and pack out your game to a local packing company or to your coolers at the trail head.
