From flat fields and fencerows to rolling terrain and creek beds, there is a variety of cover to meet every hunter's request. The property includes two distinct hunting areas to accommodate up to 20 hunters. For those who purchase 10 or more pheasants, a whole day hunt is allowed giving you the opportunity to truly enjoy the pristine surroundings. We welcome clients to bring their own dogs or offer a guide service with pointing dogs. Our dogs include a Vizsla and German Wirehair Pointer.

New Sharon • Welcome to Grouse Haven Wing-Shooting, where we offer some of the fastest wing-shooting the Northeast has to offer. Our well-behaved pointing dogs, who have undergone extensive field training, are always eager to enter a cover. Nothing produces an adrenaline rush more than a rock steady point combined with the sound of the thundering wings of a Ruffed Grouse, or the whistling wings of a woodcock. Here at Grouse Haven we have access to 3,500 acres of excellent Grouse & Woodcock covers. All meals are privately catered in our traditional New England sap house. Early September dove wing-shooting is fast and furious, with Montana grain fields home to thousands of doves each year. Cast 'n Blast trips in the Fall include Bighorn River trout fishing with pheasant, upland bird, waterfowl or turkey hunting.

Maple Grove Rd • Our Pedee preserve contains 315 acres which is divided into two upland bird hunting units. Both contain some hillside areas and part of the flatter bottom-land area along the Luckiamute. The bottom area includes a diverse habitat area and can provide some easy and difficult hunting. The riparian areas along the river provide some short shots in more brushy areas. The retrieves can be challenging for the dogs and may be in-water. The edge habitat we have created in the bottom provides some longer shots, easy retrieves, and near level walking. The large Ash, Maple and Cottonwood trees and views of the Luckiamute make this part of each area enjoyable, just for the scenery. We have developed two hunting units that will provide a good day's hunt, and will continue to develop and enhance these in the years to come.
