Grandview • Come and explore the famous deer country of the Duck Mountains in west central Manitoba. Hunting over stands that are set in well used travel routes away from any other hunters. Keep an eye out for the Timber wolves that frequent the area as you are allowed to take 2 of them on your deer license. Our hunters generally harvest a couple per year. Or we can set you up near a bait site to hunt for them.

We have many options available to our guests-we provide fully guided hunts and DIY (Do it yourself)/Drop camp hunts for the ones that like a bit more of a challange. All of our hunts are wall tent camps. We like to provide the full outdoor western experience. The camps are fully furnished w/ food, cots and wood stoves for heat etc. All the hunter needs to bring is their weapon, sleeping bag, personal hygiene products and whatever else they believe they need for the next few days. Hunts will be conducted by 4X4, ATV, on foot and on horseback. This all depends on the area we will be hunting.

Alberta, Canada • This hunt takes place in our northern zone. A mix of brushy cattle pastures in hilly terrain and open agricultural fields makes a bow hunt challenging, but exciting! Expect to see 30-40 deer on any given day, with a shooter buck being considered 165" or better - unless the antlers have distinguishing characteristics such as non-typical or drop tines. This is not an extremely demanding hunt physically - we are normally able to locate deer within a mile of the truck. Weather can vary dramatically - from 90+ degrees in the early season, to -15 in a late season hunt. We will inform you within a week of the hunt date of what weather conditions are called for, and you can pack gear accordingly. Accommodations are small, but cozy and fully equipped cabins on the shore of scenic Fox Lake. You will get weekly updates starting in July from pre-season scouting, including photos of shooter deer found, weather conditions and any other information relevant to your hunt.

Whitetail deer - add onStarting from $1,750

Alberta, Canada • Whitetails are normally added on as a secondary species to our mule deer hunts. Typically, we would hunt mule deer, and if we tag out early, we can take a trip to town to secure a tag for a whitetail. Alternatively, a whitetail license can be added to a mule deer hunt, enabling the client the opportunity to harvest a whitetail at any time during the hunt. Hunts are primarily conducted from tree stands or ground blinds, although drives or "nudges" can be productive in some areas of the zone.
