Utah
• Utah's Bobcat tags are available over the counter. Pickups, snowmobiles, and four wheelers are use for transportation. This is an on-call hunt do to the lack of scent for the dogs and snow is required. Hunts will generally be in December and January. A bobcat hunt can be added to a Lion hunt, but only if your Lion is harvested and snow is present and there are enough days left to make it possible to harvest a Bobcat.
Coyote hunts do not require a tag or license. Coyotes will be called in and will be hunted in desert terrain. There is no limit on harvest that one hunter can take on this hunt. A pickup will be the transportation. It is recommended but not necessary to purchase a fur bearer permit because there is a chance to harvest red fox, gray fox, kit fox, and also badger while calling coyotes. This is a heart pumping experience, with up close encounters it is one of my favorite hunts, and can be added to the end of most hunts we offer after harvesting your animal.
