Description

Eagle's Nest Outfitting is based in Northwest Colorado about 20 miles east of the town of Meeker, Colorado up the White River on the Flat Tops Trail Scenic Byway. Northwest Colorado elk hunts are a specialty and we also offer moose hunts to those lucky enough to draw a tag. We provide deluxe drop camps or semi-guided hunts which are specially permitted in the White River National Forest and Flat Tops Wilderness Area. We travel in by horseback or mule. Our summer pack trips are designed for you.

The hunting camps consist of canvas tents with a wood stove for warmth. Your water is provided from a clear cool fresh mountain spring. Fire wood is cut and stacked. We supply you with cots, tables, propane cook stoves and lanterns right down to the silverware. Hunting is done on foot right from our camps. Our camps are well maintained in beautiful, remote settings and are group exclusive.
