Booking and Payment Policies
Reservation Deposit: A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 25% of the total trip cost is required to secure your booking.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the trip start date.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via cash, credit card, check, or other agreed-upon methods.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by the Client:
More than 30 Days Before the Trip: You may cancel your trip for a refund, less the deposit and credit card fees.
30 Days or Less Before the Trip: Cancellations within this window are non-refundable.
No-Shows: Failure to arrive on the scheduled start date is considered a no-show and will result in forfeiture of all payments.
Cancellations by Soda Peak Outfitters:
If we must cancel the trip for any reason (e.g., unforeseen circumstances or safety concerns), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
Poor Weather Policy
Our trips operate rain or shine. However, in cases of extreme weather or unsafe conditions (e.g., severe storms, wildfire risk, flooding), Soda Peak Outfitters may modify the itinerary or reschedule the trip to ensure safety.
If the trip must be postponed due to extreme weather, clients will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Changes to Itinerary
Soda Peak Outfitters reserves the right to modify the trip itinerary due to trail conditions, weather, wildlife activity, or other unforeseen factors.
We will communicate any changes as soon as possible and strive to maintain the overall quality of the experience.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.

Clients must follow the safety guidelines provided by our guides at all times. Liability Waiver
Participation in a backcountry pack trip involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, unpredictable weather, wildlife encounters, horseback riding, and physical exertion. All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the trip.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unexpected circumstances that may require cancellation or delay.
