A couse deer hunt in one of Arizona's "Sky Islands" is truly an adventure hunt at an affordable price! Just minutes from the comforts and amenities of town (should you choose) you will be experiencing a land not far removed from the old west loaded with the ranching and mining history.

Weapon Details

Shot distances can be far when hunting these weary little deer so the farther you shoot the better. Ideally we recommend that rifle hunters are comfortable to 500 yards and that archery hunters are comfortable from 60-90 yards.

If you aren't set up for those distances just let us know! We can always talk about alternative hunting tactics and we also have long range equipment that you can use as well.

Pricing Details

This hunt in guided only. The cost includes transportation to and from your lodging, transportation during the hunt, lunch, and one licensed and knowledgeable guide at a minimum (most hunts will have two guides). While lodging is not included in this hunt we are more than happy to assist you with making lodging and travel information if you would like.

Terms & Conditions

Obligations of the Outfitter. In performing the services list above, Desert Mountain Guide Service promises to do the following: ▪ Provide a licensed professional hunting guide. ▪ Use diligence and safety in all matters for the client, but it is understood that many things can affect hunting (ie. weather, your preparedness, physical condition, etc) and we do not guarantee success. ▪ Provide proper care of trophies in the field ▪ Provide professional and licensed guides for the guide to client ratio.

Client's obligations. Client shall: ▪ Provide own personal clothing, equipment, and weapon. ▪ Pay costs of the license fees, meat processing, taxidermy which includes shipping of hides and antlers, and any other shipping costs. ▪ Pay for food, lodging and transportation costs for dates not covered by this agreement or by accommodation options listed above.
▪ Obey all laws and conduct him/herself in a reasonable, prudent and safe manner under any circumstances. Posses the appropriate license and tag/s at all times on their person. Pay a non refundable 50% deposit in order to secure hunt dates. ▪ Client hereby agrees and acknowledges that he or she has had ample opportunity to investigate and study the inherent dangers and risks associated with engaging in the activities and services set forth above and that Desert Mountain Guide Service will not be held liable for injury or illness while engaging in any activity with Desert Mountain Guide Service. Client expressly agrees and acknowledges that he accepts and consents to all the risks associated with any activity as part of this agreement. ▪ Client also agrees that he or she is in the appropriate physical condition and possesses the sufficient outdoor and hunting or fishing skills to reasonably undertake the services set forth herein and to fully participate in and enjoy the same despite the inherent risks and hardships. ▪ If while on your hunt, you are unable to hunt due to illness or you are hurt, there is no refund.

Camp/Accommodations

Lodging is not included in this hunt but we are happy to help you arrange lodging and other travel details.
