HUNTING LOCATION & DURATION FOR DEER AND ELK We are permitted to hunt on four Game Management Units and one BLM area. The three GMUs in the northern section of the Routt National Forest (#4, #441, and #214) have excellent elk and mule deer populations and are in mountainous terrain. They have some areas of thick, black timber, lots of Aspen trees and are integrated with many open parks and meadows.

GMU #214 is a non-draw archery area (licenses are sold Over-The-Counter).

The BLM area has similar terrain. It offers excellent mule deer hunting (many 28-30′ plus bucks) especially in 2nd and 3rd rifle seasons. GMU #12 is located in the southern section of the Routt National Forest in the Beaver Flattops area and is southwest of Hayden, CO. This is also a quality elk and deer area.

Terms & Conditions

RESERVATIONS When you have selected the trip and the dates of your choice, contact us to make your reservation. Fifty percent of your fee is required as a deposit and no reservation will be held without deposit. The balance of your fee may be paid by money order, travelers check or cash. It is due prior to departing for camp. All bookings are confirmed with a written contract signed by both parties. In it, dates, specifications and prices are agreed upon. Deposits are non-refundable, but transferable. A deposit refund will be made if another client is found to replace you, but a $100 fee will be assessed for any cancellation. No refund will be made if you leave before the end of the trip or if you fail to arrive on time for pre-selected trip dates. Beaver Creek Outfitters will guarantee a full refund if it is unable to provide the scheduled trip.
