Pricing Details

FULLY-OUTFITTED 5-Day Elk Hunt : $7,500.00/per hunter Fully-outfitted hunts are designed for the hunter who wants the whole western big game experience. Wall tent lodging, food, and transportation are provided during the hunt. Three meals a day will be served with plenty of snacks and drinks. Burnt Mountain Outfitters, LLC provides the knowledge of the unit and the stock needed to safely retrieve your trophy. Our fully outfitted services offer 1 guide for up to 2 clients.

GUIDED HUNT 5-Day Elk Hunt: $5,500.00/per hunter Guided hunts are designed for the hunter who is looking for a quality hunt but does not want to be fully outfitted for the duration of their hunt. Lodging and meals are the responsibility of the client/hunter. Burnt Mountain Outfitters, LLC provides the knowledge of the unit and the stock needed to safely retrieve your trophy. Our fully guided services offer 1 guide for up to 2 clients.

SEMI-GUIDED HUNT: 2-Day Elk Hunt: $2,150.00/per hunter This option will allow for a hunter to use our Burnt Mountain Outfitters, LLC outfitter number to apply for the 10% outfitter pool. A registered guide will be present on the same two (2) days for everyone on the application. As per regulations, the contract must specify which two (2) days of the hunt you desire to be guided. Nothing will be furnished for your hunt except for the use of the outfitter number and a registered guide for two (2) days. This hunt must be in an area where the guide can drive to a predetermined camp location. NO WILDERNESS HUNTS AND PACK SERVICES.

If you elect to use Burnt Mountain Outfitters, LLC outfitter number to enter the outfitter pool a signed contract and a $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required prior to NMDGF Application deadline, which covers all applications for the client for the year. This deposit will be subtracted from the total hunt cost if the hunter successfully draws a license.

If you have a tag and would like to reserve your hunt a 50% deposit is required the day of signing the contract. The total balance is due 30 days prior to your hunt date. All state taxes are included within the prices.

Camp/Accommodations

For fully outfitter hunts, clients will be provided will a 12x12 wall tent, wood burning stove, 3x meals/day, transportation during hunt, stock needed to safely retrieve trophy animal.

Physical Requirements

The game management units we hunt range in elevation from 8,000' to 12,000'. These units are physically demanding. They require hiking to locate game and it is common to hike 4-8 miles a day. It is important to understand your limitations and prepare yourself for a western big game hunt ahead of season. For information regarding mobility impaired hunts, please contact us directly.

Permit & Tag Application Process

If you are interested in booking a hunt, please call or email burntmoutainoutfitters@(url removed) to start the application process. Hunt availability is ultimately limited by calendar days and guide availability and is first come first serve for booking.
