Fly Fishing in New York's Catskill Mountains
Description
We offer full service guided walk / wade fly fishing trips for trout in the Catskill Mountain region of New York State. We fish classic and fabled Catskill rivers, including the Beaverkill, Willowemoc, the Upper Delaware, Esopus, and many small mountain streams.
What to Expect
We will fish a variety of rivers and streams, based on what you are looking to get out of your time with us. From small mountain streams for native brook trout, to larger Upper Delaware tailwaters, we can cater to your needs and make it a trip you'll remember. All of our trips include use of fly-fishing gear, as needed. Full days include a riverside lunch, if desired. A New York State fishing license is required and must be purchased through the NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation, or at a local sporting goods store prior to your trip.
Gear & Equipment
Here is the list of items you are definitely going to need:
- Waders and wading boots, felt or rubber
- 8ft - 9ft, 4 or 5 wt fly rod, floating line
We do have gear available for use, as needed!
Pricing Details
2023 Fly Fishing Rates:
Half Day, 1 or 2 anglers $325.00 Full Day, 1 or 2 anglers $450.00 Add a 3rd angler, +$75.00
Use of needed gear is included. We do ask clients to bring some of our suggested flies for the time of year. Your guide will also have a large selection of flies, leaders, etc.
We reserve trips with a $100 deposit. Trips cancelled before 14 days of the date scheduled will be fully refunded, less any applicable credit card or processing fees. Trips cancelled within 14 days of the date of the trip will forfeit the deposit, however deposits can be applied to a future date.

If we encounter unsafe conditions, bad weather, etc we will apply your deposit to a future date. If you cannot reschedule, we will refund your deposit.
Permit & Tag Application Process
A New York State freshwater fishing license is required. a NY Dept. of Environmental Protection access permit may be required.
