Kri-kri ibex hunting in Sapientza, Greece is the perfect opportunity to get up close and personal with these regal creatures. Here, you will have the unique opportunity to hunt and take home your own Kri-kri ibex. This experience includes: lodging, meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), transportation from/to airport or port, professional guide and assistance on the hunt. The hunt is for 4 days/5 nights (in November), 1 trophy Kri Kri Ibex gold medal class no limit of the trophy size . The hunting licenses are limited. The time of received payment of the booking fee for each application defines the priority order. The rules for hunting in the special hunting areas are mandatory to all going there, Because the island of Sapientza is with the statute of natural preserve protected area and special access to it is provided by law. Hunting takes place in groups, the way this is described in the program drawn by the government. Each of these groups is assigned with hunting region it cannot leave. The weapons you could hunt with are also subject to approval in the hunting program /shotgun only/. We provide you with official representation before the Greek authorities while ensuring all documents necessary for hunting in the island.This hunt is good until trophies are taken or wounded or two reasonable chances have been missed or passed over.

What to Expect

We will begin to explore the country's oldest region once we meet you at the airport and take you to your luxury villa near the sea. Every day until you hunt the ibexes on Sapientza Island, we will accompany nonhunters on beautiful sightseeing tours. We will meet you at the fireplace with a glass of wine and fresh grilled calamari at the end of the day. Then everyone can share his interesting story. Hunting ibex on the island of Sapienza is not an easy task, but it's worth it. You need to be handy with a shotgun and good at shooting without optics-which can be difficult if you don't have proper training! The hunt lasts four days and only 4 hours every day. To win this hunting contest, one has to overcome all these challenges! When someone finally wins the competition, we congratulate them most sincerely with a glass of champagne on the beach.

Weapon Details

To hunt with a shotgun in Greece, you must use a smooth-bore firearm. Hunting is the only activity in which firearms can be used. However, an EU hunter may import his or her own shotgun if they desire. We provide over a dozen shotguns for your selection. Before hunting, you must do target practice in order to determine the optimal shooting range for every hunter.

Terms & Conditions

Not included shipping & documentation from the Airport to home destination € 850 and any Taxidermy work, International flights, hotel fees before and after hunt (if needed), Observer/hunter - €450 per day for each additional day in case of bad weather, License fee for additional mouflon €4500, additional Kri Kri hybrid €6500, additional Kri Kri €25000, Alcoholic drinks , Gun permits If a shot draws blood, it will terminate the hunt and start the search for the wounded animal. If the animal is injured and not found while the hunter is present, the animal will be considered dead. The search for the trophy will continue and, if found, it will be sent to the hunter. The hunt finishes once the animal is shot. There will be no refund after the hunt start and if the trophy is taken or wounded, or two reasonable chances have been missed or passed over the hunt is over. In case of bad weather and/or no chances to shoot during the hunt the refund is according the current years government trophy fee for the requested trophy size. Or returned hunt for 50% over the original price. There will be no refund if the hunter has 2 missed shots, or wounded animal, or 2 reasonable chances are passed over.

Physical Requirements

No physical requirements but shooting. Hunting on the island of Sapienza in Greece requires a lot of training from hunters to be successful. Shooting with a smoothbore weapon seems easy, and almost everyone has practiced shotgun hunting. That is why most people ignore training for an open-sighted shotgun with slugs - it could be their biggest mistake!

These rules are determined by the Government of Greece and they are officially published every year before the start of the hunting season. Current hunting program is accepted and voted on by the Greek Government at the beginning of the month of October each year. Translated in English current program shall be available on the internet website in a few days after its official publishing.
