Our Archery Elk hunts take place in Eastern Montana in the famous Missouri Breaks. This is a highly sought tag due to the potential of trophy class bulls. Our hunts typically start well before light as we try to locate herds and position ourselves between watering and bedding areas
Expect early morning rises as we get into the field long before daylight in order to position ourselves between water and bedding areas. When the "rut" is in full swing, expect some up close and intense encounters. Terrain is typically hillside drainages with ponderosa pine coverage
Light weight clothing layers as mornings can be cool and mid days reaching 85 degrees and above. A good set of comfortable hunting boots with good traction a d arch support are a must. When location herds, a good quality set of binoculars are needed. We provide the calls, decoys, wind checkers, scent sprays and meat packs

We have a very spacious hunting lodge with room to stretch your legs or relax under our covered outdoor bbq patio next to the fire pit and converse with fellow hunters of the day's experience

Archery elk hunts do require hunters to be physically fit. Archery Elk hunting can be fast paced and a lot of moving from one potential herd to another
Elk tags are acquired through a drawing process. Hunters will apply for an Elk Combo license. Once successful, hunters have the opportunity to purchase a general deer tag to add to their hunt
