Just a short drive from Casper, WY, the scenic Alcova reservoir is known for it's fast action trout (rainbow, cutthroat, brown), feisty kokanee, and walleye. Enjoy trolling or jigging/casting for trout and kokanee in the famous Fremont Canyon area or hunting for walleye in one of the many "alcoves" of the reservoir. When the infamous Wyoming winds are up and most area waters are not fishable, Alcova can still be a viable option due to the protection the many coves and inlets offer.
Average time on the water is 8 hours for full-day trips, 4 hours for 1/2 day trips. Target species dependent on client preference (trout, kokanee, or walleye). All gear, tackle, and other necessary equipment is provided. A traditional shore lunch with fresh fish of the day is included on full-day trips. Complimentary cleaning of any fish your group would like to keep is also included. Bottled water is supplied onboard, if light snacks or other beverages are desired the client may supply their own.
All gear and equipment are provided.
