Maine has an abundant ruffed grouse population. With its hundreds of thousands of acres of woodlands and thousands of miles of logging roads, an abundance of grouse will make your hunt successful and enjoyable.

We offer grouse hunts for the active bird hunter who likes to beat the brush with their own dogs, or the low key hunter who enjoys the fall foliage and exploring old logging roads by foot or vehicle. Maine has a liberal bag limit of 4 birds per day, so bring an extra box of shells-you may use them all. We are hoping to receive our first puppy this coming winter. If everything works out W&W will have a new member for upland bird hunting in the fall.
