Brown Bear hunt on the Alaskan Peninsula, in our exclusive guide concession of the Katmai Preserve – Sugarloaf. Brown Bear hunts in the fall season focus on streams and lakes where these large Alaskan Peninsula brown bears feed on the last remaining salmon of the season.
AWWA just wrapped up its first moose season in the Sugarloaf area of the Katmai Preserve harvesting a mature 65 inch wide bull. Focusing on high trophy quality combined with a very customized personal hunt, we will be offering up to two moose hunts in our area a year. The Katmai Preserve has harbored excellent trophy moose in the past and was proven this season.
AWWA offers two options for brown bear hunting. We have camps on the Alaskan Peninsula and on the Southern Alaska Range.
