Imagine calling in a coyote from up to a mile out, watching him come in the whole way until he is within 50 yards or less, hair bristling, looking for supper, it's a rush! The perfect break in a long winter to kick back and hunt! You may spend your day in a truck or out in fresh air so layers are critical to ensure a comfortable hunt.

Take advantage of our coyote hunting expertise. Our guides have several years of calling under their belts, and they are prepared to bring the coyote's right in to you. Whether it is fall or winter, we have techniques designed for the condition.

For our wolf hunts we will use bait piles, spot and stalk, and calling. At this time of the year there will be snow so we will travel by truck, snowmobile, or quads while hunting. You can expect a kill percentage of about 50%.

Currently, in Alberta for wolves and coyotes the limit is all you can shoot.

Pricing Details

Coyote & wolf Hunts (November through March)3 day hunts are $ 1,650.00 US per hunter 6 day hunts are $3,000.00 US per hunter *There will be a 5% Goods & Services Tax added to the cost of the hunts.

                     Cost of the hunt covers the following: 

• License, tags and wildlife certificate.

• Pick up at the Peace River airport.

• All vehicle transportation during hunt.

• Food and accommodations during the hunt.

• Field dressing, skinning and caping of your trophy.

• Pre-purchasing of licenses and permits.

                    The following is "Not"                          included in the cost of the hunt:                            
  

• Air transportation to Peace River, Alberta

• Shipping, crating, and handling of trophy

• Taxidermy (We can provide taxidermy services at an additional cost. Excellent taxidermists available are Jim August, Portland, Oregon or Guy Bruneau, Peace River, Alberta).

Terms & Conditions

• all deposits are bonded and insured by the alberta professional outfitters society (apos)

• reservations are required and are confirmed upon receipt of a 50% of the complete cost is required to book a hunt, this deposit is non-refundable.

• the balance of your bill must be received in our office by july 1 of your hunt year for waterfowl hunts; november 1 for bison hunts; september 1 for moose hunts; september 1 for wolf/coyote hunts. if you wish to book after these dates for the current year, payment in full is required at time of booking.

• telephone reservations will be honored for 7 days from the date of call pending receipt of your deposit

• except for transferring deposits to a friend, all deposits are fully non-refundable. the deposits cannot be transferred to a future year.

• deposits will be refunded in full, if for some reason we must cancel a hunt.

• all certified checks should be made payable to blue sky outfitters.

• once we receive a deposit then a hunt contract will be sent to you to be signed and mailed back.
