Double Diamond Wilderness Hunts owns the premier black bear hunting area in Alberta Canada. Join us on a black bear hunt along the famous Athabasca River in WMU 531 bordering the Wood Buffalo National Park. We hunt bait sites that consistently produce record book bears and each year we open new areas that have never been hunted. Join us in Alberta for an exciting trophy whitetail deer hunting trip. Our rifle whitetail deer hunts are 6 or 10 days during the peak of the rut in November. Whitetail deer in our hunting area range from 140" - 200" B&C with our long term harvest average being in the 150" range. By using tree stands, tower stands, and ground blinds in key locations, we can make your whitetail deer dreams a reality! Our mule deer hunts produce mule deer ranging in the 150" - 180" P&Y with an average deer scoring in the 160" range. Mule deer bow hunts are spot and stalk with some tree stand use.

Trophy preparation includes the complete skinning of your bear including the turning of lips, eyes, ears, nose and paws. Your bear will then be salted and dried ready for shipping. We do this to prevent the hair slipping in the event your baggage is lost by the airlines on your return trip for a day or two. Terms & Conditions

A 50% DEPOSIT is required to hold your hunt and is non-refundable.Hunt balance must be paid 60 days prior to hunt start date.Personal checks are fine for deposits and final payments.All harvest fees must be paid in cash.5% Government Sales Tax for US clients & 5% GST for Canadian clients will be added to hunt prices.All license costs are extra.Refund Policy - Deposits will be 100% refunded or forwarded to the following year due to personal medical emergencies or acts of god. For all other cancellations, if 90 days notice is given we will forward the hunt to the next year, if under 90 days Double Diamond Wilderness Trails reserves the right to keep the deposit or forward to the following year, if we or you can find a replacement.
