Method of hunting is by way of 4x4 trucks, boats & walking. Our area has a myriad of roads with logging blocks & lakes. We have secret trails into alot of these lakes with boats and/or stands set up. We do a tremendous amount of calling, rattling & raking as our Moose & Bear hunts are spot & stalk.A typical day of hunting starts early in the morning from camp with a lunch/fishing break in the middle of the day, a planned hunt in the afternoon and back to a comfortable lodge for a good meal followed by a campfire in the evening. We prefer family groups & small 4-6 person hunting groups in camp at a time, giving us the opportunity to provide quality, personal service. I have hunted and guided my whole life. My thrill is to see the release of emotion one feels upon harvesting a trophy animal with their friends or family by their side. It is one of the most rewarding things in life to be a small part in somebody elses dream.

Packages (2015 rates)

All Moose Island hunts include: your guide, all meals and accommodation. We bring you into the camp on the before your hunt and you depart on the day after your hunt. Whether you select the 5 day, 7 day, or 8 day package, they are all hunting days. We hope you have a wonderful experience at Moose Island!

BEAR HUNT PACKAGES: Five full day hunts include your guide, accommodation and meals.

Hunt Costs: 2 Hunters x 1 Guide = $ 3,450 Taxes and tags not included

MOOSE HUNT PACKAGES: Seven or Eight full day hunts during the rut for Canadian Moose to 50+ inches. Includes the guide, accommodation and meals.

Hunt Costs: 2 Hunters x 1 Guide = $7,500 Taxes and tags not included

Non Hunting Companion: 5 day Bear Hunt - $1,500/person 8 day Moose Hunt - $2,000/person

PRE-RUT HUNT: $4,000 Plus A $1,500 Trophy Fee, along with taxes & fees.

Groups of 2/4 or 6 only.

Additional Hunt Booking Details:

The balance of the hunt fees are payable in cash, or certified check 60 days prior to your hunt. Your tag requirements must accompany payment as we will purchase them on your behalf.

Deposits are not refundable but can be transferred to another hunter when confirmed in writing 60 days prior to the scheduled hunt date.
