Description

Ruggs offers a unique wild bird experience that is not duplicated anywhere in the United States. The wild birds are hunted on prairies, canyons, and the foothills of the Blue Mountains.

The 21,000 acres of habitat are home to Hungarian Partridge, Chukkar, Pheasant and Quail. These hunts are conducted on horseback and horse drawn wagon. Big running English Pointers will guide us as we wind in and out of the vast grasslands and fertile valleys.

Shotguns are available for rent as needed, shells are available for purchase.

Tags, license and gratuities are not included in the hunt price.

Oregon Tag and license pricing will be available each January.

Camp/Accommodations

Stay in our luxury Western themed 6 bedroom/7 bathroom lodge that accommodates 12 guests. Packages include a round of sporting clays, three Chef prepared meals per day, alcoholic beverages, transportation to and from the field, guided hunts with expertly trained dogs, cleaning, processing and packaging of harvested game.

Preserve permits and Upland Permits are provided by the ranch.
