The Bob Marshall Wilderness area is legendary, and for good reason. This giant swath of pristine wilderness offers solitude and genuine adventure. Whether your're on an elk hunt, a deer hunt or one of our summer pack trips for world class fly fishing, we strive to produce an experience that will keep you coming back.

Our Bob Marshall hunting camp is located at Hahn Creek north of Ovando, Montana. This area offers unique opportunities for both bugling bull elk early in the year, as well as late season bulls coming down for winter. This is one of the few areas in Montana, or anywhere for that matter, where hunters have the opportunity to hunt elk with a rifle during the rut. The Bob Marshall complex also home to some big bucks, including mule deer and whitetail.

We offer camp based hunts and customized roving hunts. We use the roving hunts to capitalize on late-season bull elk and mule deer movement as they disperse into rougher areas off the beaten path.This Alaskan-style roving hunt

Pricing Details

2016 RIFLE SEASON DATES: September 14th – 22nd September 24th – October 2nd October 11th – 19th

2016 RATES: Rifle Hunts are 9 days. This includes one day pack-in, one day pack-out and 7 full days of hunting.

2 on 1 Guided Hunt: $4,500 1 on 1 Guided Hunt: $5,500

Terms & Conditions

When booking hunts before March 15th of that years hunt we require a $600 deposit to confirm your reservation. For hunts booked more than a year in advance, a $600 deposit will hold your hunt until May 1st by then you will have received license from the state of Montana at that time remainder of deposit will be due. For big game hunting trips the license applications will be available by mid-January and the deadline is March 15th. The balance of hunt is due prior to the start of the hunt (day of departure at the latest).

Summer Pack Trips, World class fishing trips and Drop Float trips require 25% if year in advance and 25% 1st of June of year of trip and balance due no later that day of departure.

In the event of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. However, we will make every attempt to fill the open dates with another reservation. In which case we will refund your deposit in full.

All Clients will be charged $50 over and above hunt cost for the HADF (hunter angler defense fund) all funds go direct to Montana Outfitter and Guides Assoc. to protect you the client (resident and non-resident) rights and future rights to recreate in Montana.
