SJO offers a variety of hunting options for any level of hunter. Whether you prefer Archery, Muzzleloader, or Rifle, you'll find our full service camps and our drop camps perfectly suited to hunting the San Juan Mountains. We take great care in locating our camps to provide access to game without interfering with their natural routines.Our hunts are all fair-chase on public land. But this isn't just any public land. It takes effort to get to our hunting grounds deep in the Weminuche Wilderness or in the productive timber and drainages of the Piedra Primitive Area. So you won't be bumping elbows with other hunters.
Guided Hunts: Our guided Archery and Muzzleloader are in GMU 751. Our guided Rifle hunts are in GMU 751 for 1st and 2nd Rifle, if weather permits and GMU 77 for all seasons.
Drop Camps: We set up our drop camps before your arrival.
