Clothing

Having top of the line clothing for any hunt is extremely important. Hunting late season elk requires clothing that stands above the rest. I have learned the importance of having warm and resilient clothing. The key to a successful hunt is to be warm and able to hunt through those long cold days. Here are some of my favorite options.

Baselayers

I have found either of these two mid layer jackets are great for keeping heat in. 10/10 would recommend either of these.

Firearms

I have learned my lesson many times off the importance of having an effective hunting rifle. You might only get one chance during your hunt at the bulk of a lifetime. Choosing your rifle carefully and the components that go with it is something I would not recommend going cheap on. I have had a lot of success with the setup that I have recommended.

Zeiss conquest v4 6-24x50 this has been an awesome scope for hunting. I have one on all my hunting rifles.
