Idaho Late Season Rifle Deer

The state hunts can be tough depending on the weather and terrain you are hunting in. This was a new unit for me so wasn't quite sure what to expect. I knew I'd be hunting in some higher elevation of Idaho so could experience some pretty crazy weather. Nothing is quite as bad as not being prepared so I brought everything I had to make sure I was properly covered throughout the duration of the hunt. Mule deer are my passion and I've been hunting them my entire life. This unit brought me back to my first childhood hunts. I was extremely happy that my dad of 71 years was able to come with me and come fill circle to where it all began when I was a kid and he was teaching me the ropes.
