• The Pere Marquette River in Lake County Michigan is the birthplace of brown trout in the United States. In 1884 the first germanic brown trout were planted in what is now known if as the Baldwin River.
I'm offering full-day adventures for our spring 2023 season that feature opportunities for streamers and dry fly presentations for brown and rainbow trout in our beautiful blue ribbon waters.
You are welcome to bring your own equipment and flies, there will be guide equipment and flies at your disposal if you do not have the appropriate gear or you're traveling light.
Your adventure will feature a boat meal of the pilot's choice, please let me know of any dietary or eating preferences and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
My goal is to always offer a unique experience based on the occasion you are celebrating or why you are traveling to northern Michigan. Your well-behaved pets or service animals are also welcome aboard my vessel, I love having extra animal companions on board.
