New York
• Catskill Outdoor Adventures specializes in fishing on the Pepacton Reservoir, the crown gem of the New York City water system. Trophy trout fishing is a specialty. Trout from 6-10 pounds are not uncommon and Sonny helped land the NYS inland water record brown trout in April 1994 -- 22 lbs. 0 oz., 37.5 inches!
You can also try your hand casting for smallmouth bass using topwater lures, diving lures or jigs. These fish are feisty, doing cartwheels in the air or diving deep.
Wild, native brook trout can be found in all the streams throughout the Catskills. When in search of the brookies, we will guide you to some of the most promising locations in the region on a day trip, 1/2 day trip, or try an overnighter if you would like to get in some camping, too.
On day trips, all bait is included as well as lunch. We can also supply rod and reel if needed. On 1/2 day trips we include snacks as well as all of the above.
