Sudden Impact Outfitters offers a premier Big Game Hunting experience in Northwest Colorado. They offer hunters the chance to experience the wilderness of Colorado, while enjoying the rich wildlife located in Game Management Unit 211. Their camps are located in the Danforth Hills area of Rio Blanco County in the heart of Elk country, near Meeker Colorado.

They offer two types of hunts. A fully guided private ranch hunt and a DIY drop camp style hunt. For both hunts, they are able to offer a very exclusive hunting opportunity by limiting the number of hunters they take each season. This allows them to maintain minimal hunting pressure on the local elk herds.

Their fully guided hunts take place on a private ranch that many elk call home during hunting season. Their ranch hunts include meals and lodging.

Their drop camp style hunts take place on land locked BLM. The drop camps are especially suited for hunters who prefer a "do it yourself" style hunt. They provide their hunters with pack in and pack out services which includes gear and game. A wall tent, cook stove, cots and firewood is also provided.
